Tour Description

Our journey through Northern Argentine Patagonia follows paths less traveled, venturing into some of the most remote and spectacular areas of the Andean Lake District and then onto the stunning Volcano areas. Upon arriving in the lakeside city of Bariloche, we begin with an introductory ride along the beautiful Circuito Chico. From there, we cross the high, rugged Paso Córdoba, descending toward San Martín de los Andes—the adventure capital of Argentina.

Here, you will enjoy two contrasting days of mountain biking at Cerro Chapelco, traversing territories historically inhabited by the Mapuche people. We continue with a scenic loop passing Laguna Rosales and Lanín National Park before heading south along the legendary Seven Lakes Route. Pedaling through pristine forests, rolling fields, and alongside rushing rivers, we reach Villa La Angostura on the shores of Nahuel Huapi National Park.

The Volcano leg of our Patagonia journey is a unique cycling adventure through one of Argentina’s most remote and breathtaking regions. Over five days of riding, cyclists explore the wild landscapes of northern Patagonia, traveling from San Martín de los Andes to Villa Pehuenia and beyond, surrounded by ancient araucaria forests, crystal-clear lakes, volcanic landscapes, and snow-capped peaks.

The route combines scenic gravel roads, remote backcountry trails, and quiet mountain roads while passing through Lanín National Park, traditional Mapuche communities, hidden lagoons, lava fields, and the spectacular Batea Mahuida Volcano. Riders experience dramatic climbs, rewarding descents, and constantly changing landscapes that showcase the true essence of Patagonia.

Along the way, guests enjoy authentic local culture, Patagonian cuisine, comfortable accommodations, and the support of an experienced team that allows everyone to ride at their own pace. From panoramic volcanic vistas to pristine rivers and ancient forests, every day offers a new adventure.

This tour is designed for riders seeking more than just a cycling trip—it is an immersive journey into the natural beauty, culture, and untamed spirit of Patagonia.
