Transfer from San Martin de los Andes Airport, Chapelco (CPC) or the bus terminal. (For arrivals at any time of day).
Check-in at the guesthouse, in the center of the village, from 2 PM onwards.
In the afternoon, we'll go to the Adventure Store to set up the rental bikes.
Technical presentation and bike test ride on a 10 km course to the Mirador Wine Bar.
Dinner at a typical Argentinian restaurant.

Hidden Lake is located within Lanín National Park.



During the journey, we will make stops for a delicious outdoor picnic, featuring typical regional products, amidst a unique natural setting.

Our day begins with an approximately 30-minute transfer from San Martín de los Andes to Lake Curruhué Chico, where we will begin our cycling tour.



The route will be 23 km each way – a total of 46 km, crossing incredible scenery within Lanín National Park. The elevation gain will be approximately 1200 meters, making this route ideal for cyclists in good physical condition and willing to venture out.

Get ready for an intense and inspiring day of cycling around San Martín de los Andes, with landscapes that combine crystal-clear lakes, mountains, and the imposing Lanín Volcano as a backdrop.



Our day begins with an approximately 1-hour transfer to Lake Huechu-Lafquen, where we will start cycling.



🚴‍♂️ The route will be 20 km each way, following natural trails along the lake shore, through forests, and with spectacular views of the mountain range and volcano.

📈 The elevation gain will be approximately 1000 meters, making this a challenging yet rewarding adventure.



Throughout the entire journey, you will have:

“El Contra” is more than just a tour: it's an immersion into the wild nature of Argentine Patagonia, for those seeking challenge, beauty, and connection with their surroundings.

The day's ride begins in the center of San Martín de los Andes. The route follows roads used by vehicles, on a gradual climb that leads to the Trompul Stone, already within the territory of the Mapuche community, an area of ​​great historical and cultural value.



To access this region, an entrance fee of ARS 10,000 must be paid in cash only, as required by the local community.



Along the way, a strategic picnic break is made, located approximately halfway through the route, allowing participants to enjoy the stunning views of the native Patagonian forest in an environment of tranquility and connection with nature.



The bike ride continues to the Bandurrias viewpoint, considered the most emblematic viewpoint in San Martín de los Andes, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the city, Lake Lácar, and the surrounding mountains. From there, the return to the center is via paths that lead back to the town.



The total distance for the day is approximately 37 kilometers, with a cumulative positive elevation gain of 1,000 meters, making it a demanding yet deeply rewarding stage, ideal for experiencing the essence of bicycle touring in Patagonia.
